For this poster I wanted to include elements that tied to the history of Black Americans and the Holiday.
-Red Foods are usuallly eaten on this day a, The color Red is associatied with the bloodshed and sacrifice from enslaved Black Americans.
-The North Star and star navigation was way for enslaved African to find their way to freedom.
-Pan- African Flag represents people of the african Diaspora it was created in the 1900s to Symbolize black liberation.
